Samet Aydın

Samet Aydın has more than 13 years of experience in the field of control, calibration, project management, test, and systems engineering.

Up until recently, Samet Aydın served for 5 years as the Test and Calibration Manager of BMC Power Company, developing Power-Packs (Engine, Transmission, and Cooling Systems) for both military and commercial vehicles (e.g., Altay Main Battle Tank and Armored Vehicles). His responsibilities were calibration development, control systems development, test systems development, validation test process planning, and management of test and assembly facilities.

Prior to BMC Power, Mr. Aydın was the Calibration and Performance Senior Team Leader for 5 years at TUSAŞ Engine Industries. His responsibilities were calibration development, diesel engine control algorithm development and requirements management, system safety management, and Project Technical Leader for diesel and gasoline aircraft engine projects.

Mr. Aydın also worked for 3 years as a Lead Calibration Engineer for Ford Otosan, where he was responsible for Heavy Duty and Light Duty engine calibration and emission testing activities.

Mr. Aydın received his BS degree in Mechanical Engineering from Middle East Technical University (Ankara, Turkey), and his MBA degree from Istanbul Bilgi University.
